What was different about 2nd or 3rd time marriages?
Marina: It really depended on the person who was more invested in planning it. Most of them were just as intricately planned. It seems that the biggest difference I saw were the toasts. They were more emotional.
Ida: When they have been through it two times before, they are a bit less nervous about getting married – although equally excited about planning the wedding and for every detail to be perfect.
Can you describe what you most remember about working with these brides?
Marina: As most brides/grooms, they wanted everything to be perfect and fretted over the smallest of details. I also remember that the walk down the isle was incredibly emotional for these brides/grooms. I would say more so than folks I saw getting married for the first time.
Can you describe what you most remember about working with these brides?
Ida: Obsessed with details and required same amount of attention as everyone else. The 2nd and 3rd marriage brides and grooms are in average a bit older and thereby a bit more grounded, but getting married is equally the experience every time.

Do you have any other helpful information for brides-to-be?
Marina: Hire a day of coordinator even if you are doing a wedding in a hall. Day of coordinators know where everything is on the day of the wedding, they manage your itinerary, manage all vendors and thus alleviate anyone asking you unnecessary questions. It is a very small investment for a very large gain
Do you have any tips brides?
Marina: My tip for all brides is to relax on your wedding day. It is much easier said than done, but it is a very strong recommendation. Everything will work itself out and your wedding will be incredibly beautiful. If you stay relaxed and happy, people will remember how much fun you had and that will remind them how amazing your wedding was.
