Vibrant luxury resort wear
Vibrant and eye-catching, the color palette used here on Tortola is a blend of azure blue and fuschia, combining to create bursts of tropical energy and, for me, evoking memories of deep blue seascapes and tropical blooms.
I created this Muted Melodies textile design to function as a ‘richer’ version of a solid. It’s sprayed on in layers, first with a big spray gun then with two layers sprayed on with an airbrush.
Feminine luxury resort wear
Here we see how exquisitely feminine hand painting, can make Dawn’s silhouette wedding ready. On this particular version, I chose to express my fascination with paisley.
I’ve always been awed by the many permutations of its theme. This one here is a delicate, minimalist interpretation.
Fun and flirty island resort wear
This dress, The Mamanucas, has a delicate neckline and oodles of silk to support any art work.
In this instance I chose a combination of my Sun Flames design inspired by the brilliant tropical sun, layered with the vibrant hot pink bougainvillea blooms that abound in the islands. It’s just so tropical!

A romantic draped silhouette makes this Marquesa dress a favourite among brides. It’s up to you what art work you choose!
Here we see the iconic hibiscus bloom magnified in delicious hues of deep magentas and fuchsias. I just adore the hibiscus – it blooms and blooms and blooms all year round.
